U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District awarded an approximately $20 million contract, May 25, to Marinex Construction, Inc., of Charleston, South Carolina, for the second periodic renourishment of Fernandina Beach after Hurricane Nicole, for the Nassau County Shore Protection Project (SPP).
