DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 1100 AM EDT (1500 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Beryl was located near latitude 42.0 North, longitude 83.9 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the northeast near 20 mph (31 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue into Thursday morning. Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1001 mb (29.56 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- Heavy rainfall will result in areas of flash flooding, some of which may be locally considerable, through tonight from southeast Michigan through central and northern New York and northern New England.
